Over the recent years, there have been many steps made to strengthen the ties between our alumni and current students. The Alumni Council has played an integral part in this growth and deserve thanks for their efforts to building up and supporting our students.
A few weeks ago, members from the alumni council returned to their alma mater to meet with 3rd year students as part of the kick-off to the Alumni Mentorship program. Through this program, rising senior students have the opportunity to directly communicate with and learn from various alumni in the professional field. The meet and greet provided the pairs of mentors (alumni) and mentees (students) a chance to get to know one another and enjoy a meal together. With connections like these, our landscape architecture community only grows stronger and brighter.
