Declaring the Major 

• Tour our facilities. Set up an appointment with Dr. Deni Ruggeri (druggeri@umd.edu), Diana Cortez (dcortez@umd.edu) or fill out a form.

• Complete the Change of Major Workshop. 
•  
• Prepare for the Studio Placement Benchmark Review (Portfolio). Admission to the studio sequence is contingent upon attaining a successful review of a portfolio to meet content and quality standards for the LARC program.

• This is required for all students to join the studio sequence.

Academic Advising

• All undergraduate LARC students are required to be advised by our Academic Advisor and their assigned LARC faculty advisor. You will have a block on your registration status until you meet with both advisors.
